Swansea and former Llanelli flanker Hywel Jenkins has been expelled from the Welsh Development squad after breaking the sides curfew to go drinking.
Team manager Alan Phillips took the action after the incident on Friday evening, the night before the mini-test against Canada A.
Despite being unavailable for Saturday game due to a back injury Jenkins was still subject to the same disciplinary standards as the rest of the squad and Phillips had no alternative after issuing strict guidelines n players behaviour.
"We warned the squad before the start of the tour that we would not tolerate any misbehaviour off the field," said Phillips. "We have reluctantly decided to send Hywel home because we cannot tolerate indiscipline on the tour. It is not a decision we have taken lightly and it is now up to Hywel to reflect on what has happened and learn from it."
