French international centre Emile Ntamack could miss his country's opening Six Nations match against Scotland after injuring his left shoulder in a European Cup match for Stade Toulousain on Saturday.
Ntamack suffered the injury as the Toulouse club beat Cardiff 38-27, and
had to leave the field in the 22nd minute.
Club doctor Patrick Tepe said the injury would require up to three weeks
rest, leaving the player "very uncertain" for the international on February 4.
The international has already pulled out of France's training session on
Monday and will have more extensive tests on Monday.
Ntamack suffered a similar injury to his right shoulder in October which
forced him out of action for a month and prevented him playing the Tests
against Australia and New Zealand.
