Romania has sealed its place in the 2003 World Cup in Australia after smashing Spain 67-6 in Iasi.
The victory means Romania claims the fourth European place for the World Cup, joining fellow European qualifier Ireland in Pool A with host nation Australia and Argentina, as well as either Namibia or Tunisia.
The Romanians were ahead as soon as the fourth minute when they scored their first try, and by the half-time break had taken their lead to 24-6.
In the second half Romania added 43 more unanswered points in the second 40 minutes, thanks largely to 32 points - including two tries, eight conversions and two penalties from flyhalf Ionut Tofan.
