Ryan Lamb and Alex Brown are the key names returning to Gloucester's starting line-up for Saturday's Kingsholm clash against Newcastle Falcons.
Fly-half Lamb, who is three points shy of 100 in the Premiership this season, returns after damaging a shoulder on England Saxons duty earlier this month.
His last appearance was against Wasps at the end of January when he kicked all six penalties in Gloucester's 18-17 victory.
The return of Brown is also significant - it will be his 150th Premiership appearance and his first in a Gloucester shirt since breaking a bone in his fore-arm against the Ospreys in the Heineken Cup on January 12.
It will be his 15th appearance in all competitions this season and he will partner Will James at lock in a team that shows eight changes from the one that lost 29-26 to Bristol last Sunday.
Nick Wood is the only remaining member of the front row that started at the Memorial Stadium. Hooker Jeremy Paul is replaced by Andy Titterrell and Jack Forster comes in for his second Premiership start of the season on the tight-head in place of Carlos Nieto.
James and Brown have operated together once this season already - against Sale in October - and they will form the second row.
There is one change in the back row and that allows Peter Buxton to come in on the blindside flank, Luke Narraway moves to number eight because Gareth Delve is on international duty and Andy Hazell wears seven.
"Everyone has accepted responsibility for what went wrong last weekend and we want to produce a reaction," said head coach Dean Ryan. "We lacked the foundations of what we are trying to achieve as a group against Bristol and we need to ensure they are in place against Newcastle.
"I think everyone understands where the frustration came from and we have used it as a wake-up call. We need to justify our reaction from last week with a performance tomorrow and we are keen to produce that.
"We are learning all the time and we want to get back to producing the sort of performances we know can threaten the best in the Premiership - if we can do that we are a good side."
In the backline, Ryan has also made changes because of international call-ups. Gareth Cooper will partner Lamb at half-back, while Anthony Allen and Jack Adams, both try scorers against Bristol, will be the centre combination.
Willie Walker, who was a second half replacement, starts at full-back in place of Iain Balshaw and Mark Foster comes onto the wing in place of Lesley Vainikolo. James Simpson-Daniel will wear the number 14 shirt.
"This is a period of time when managing the squad is important and we will see some players tomorrow who have not had much game-time," Ryan added.
"But they have already shown a hunger and desire to produce performances and that is what we are seeking. Newcastle will obviously be without some pretty key individuals but they are good side, make no mistake about that, and are currently on a very good run of form.
"They will be hugely enthusiastic and competitive and we need to be ready for that."
On the bench, hooker Olivier Azam returns to the squad and will be joined by prop Christian Califano, lock Jonathan Pendlebury and flanker Akapusi Qera, who has not played since his two-try performance against Ulster in January because of an infected cut on his hand.
Scrum-half Mike Prendergast comes into the squad and will be joined by centre Ali James and winger James Bailey.
