Mako and Billy Vunipola extend Saracens contracts until 2022

England internationals Mako and Billy Vunipola have extended their contracts with Premiership champions Saracens until 2022.

The brothers have played a major part in Saracens' recent success, winning three Premiership titles and two European Cups since 2014.

Prop Mako, 27, joined from Bristol in 2011 while No. 8 Billy, 25, moved from Wasps two years later. The pair have gone on to make 114 and 85 Saracens appearances respectively, while also becoming regulars for the England national team.

"It's pleasing to get the opportunity to play here at a great club where I've spent most of my adult years," Mako said. "We're very lucky to have a family environment and we take it for granted sometimes."

Meanwhile, Billy added that extending his stay at the club was a "straightforward decision".

The brothers are the son of former Tongan international Fe'ao Vunipola, and qualify for England through residency after he moved to the UK in 1998. Mako has since made 51 England appearances while Billy has won 36 caps.

The duo become the latest Saracens players to commit their future to the club after Brad Barritt, Juan Figallo, Vincent Koch, George Kruis and Duncan Taylor all signed new deals earlier in the summer.

Saracens begin their Premiership defense away to Newcastle on Sept. 2.
