TNT Tropang Giga guard Bobby Ray Parks, Jr. is doubtful to play in Game 2 of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup finals on Wednesday.
Parks suffered a recurrence of the left calf strain that forced him out of the start of the PBA bubble in Game 1 on Sunday.
Parks, who finished with 20 points and 4 assists in the series opener, was visibly limping for a large chunk of the game, which the Tropang Giga eventually lost, 100-94. He fouled out with about 31 ticks left in overtime.
TNT head coach Bong Ravena told ESPN5.com that the team hopes Parks, who leads the statistical points race, can return for Game 3 on Friday.
Parks' loss will be a big void, and Ravena added that "everybody should step up for Game 2" so TNT can avoid a 0-2 hole in the best-of-7 championship series.
