Breshad Perriman provides brief scare at Ravens minicamp

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman caused some concern Wednesday when he fell to the ground after laying out for a deep pass and then banged the turf with both fists.

"From afar, I was like, 'Oh, s---,'" wide receiver Mike Wallace said.

Perriman only got the wind knocked out of him, according to Wallace. But Perriman didn't participate in drills for the last part of Wednesday's mandatory minicamp practice.

One reason why this drew so much attention was Perriman's injury history. He hurt his right knee on the first day of training camp in 2015 and injured his left knee during offseason workouts last year.

"He’s good. He’s a tough guy," Wallace said. "That’s what I asked him when I see him. I said, 'You tough, right?' He said he was good, so I’m going to take his word for it."
