Without much evidence or stats to rank them, these were educated guesses on which players would make the biggest impact. Through eight weeks of the college football season, we can better see which new players are making the biggest impact for their respective teams.
We reranked the top 50 newcomers based on their performances thus far and how important they have been to their new teams. The list is a combination of Class of 2023 high school recruits in their first season and transfers who joined their new programs in the offseason.
