In the court of public opinion, Butch Jones' job status has taken another hit, thanks to baked desserts that are not so sweet to the University of Tennessee football coach.
At Food Lion, a grocery store chain with several locations in Tennessee, pictures have emerged of cakes and cupcakes being sold that read "#FireButch" and "Fire Him."
On Thursday, a news reporter in Chattanooga, Tennessee, tweeted out the images.

At 3-3, Jones and the Tennessee Volunteers, who ranked as high as No. 24 in preseason polls, are struggling to live up to expectations in the SEC East.
During last week's 15-9 loss to unranked South Carolina, fans wore "Fire Butch Jones" T-shirts inside Neyland Stadium. The game before, the Volunteers lost 41-0 to Georgia at home.
Unfortunately, things won't get any easier on Saturday when the Volunteers head to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 1 Alabama.
