Small forward D.J. Hogg ended his recruiting on Sunday by committing to Texas A&M after taking his official visit to College Station, Texas. Hogg selected the Aggies over finalists Baylor and UCLA.
"Texas A&M has always been one of my favorites. I had to get my dad on board, who liked Baylor," Hogg said.
The No. 28 overall athlete in the ESPN 100 joins No. 21 Tyler Davis to give the Aggies two five-star prospects who are also teammates on the travel circuit with the Texas Titans.
"D.J. is a first-class young man, and he has a great connection with Tyler," Texas Titans coach Scott Pospichal said.
"I love playing with Tyler. He makes the game easy for me. He is so unselfish," Hogg said.
The duo now gives the Aggies a terrific inside-out attack that will be able to contribute immediately.
