Calipari lifting recruiting in SEC

The rest of the league will complain that it's becoming redundant, but the fact of the matter is, when talking about the Southeastern Conference it begins with Kentucky. The Wildcats boast four of this season's five most impactful rookies and three of the top additions in the Class of 2014. Coach John Calipari, after this recruiting season, will own four of the last five No. 1 classes. UK's imprint on the league is undeniable.

Mired in a recruiting slump pre-Calipari, the league's been on the rise since 2010 and recruiting rankings league-wide have increased steadily. The current class is the SEC's high water mark and no league is outproducing it in 2013.
