In the national spotlight

Every other week Tom and Chantel invite some guest writers into a Michigan recruiting roundtable to get a different perspective on national recruits. This week, Kipp Adams, who was in attendance at the Under Armour All-America Game, and William Wilkerson, who was in attendance at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, weigh in on some future Wolverines.

1) Which Michigan commit or recruit stood out the most at the Under Armour All-America game?

VanHaaren: We only got to watch the game, so my answer isn't going to be based off of the week of practice the players put in. Judging by the game I felt as though defensive tackle commit Henry Poggi (Baltimore/Gilman) stood out to me. He seemed disruptive, was in the backfield a lot and had good speed for his size. I know the All-America games lend themselves to the defense typically, but he stood out.
