Then there were those highly-regarded recruits who never chose to commit to the Longhorns in the first place such as in-state products Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto), Maurice Smith (Sugar Land, Texas/Dulles), Caleb Benenoch (Katy, Texas/Seven Lakes), Robbie Rhodes (Fort Worth, Texas/Southwest) and Dannon Cavil (San Antonio/Madison).
