The Baltimore Orioles have demoted Chris Tillman to the bullpen and will go with a six-man rotation for Week 18.

The Boston Red Sox appear likely to skip fifth starter Doug Fister during Week 18 due to their Monday and Aug. 10 off days.

The New York Yankees will again go with a six-man rotation during Week 18, as Jordan Montgomery will fill in for CC Sabathia (DL: knee) on Aug. 13.

The Toronto Blue Jays needed two fill-ins for their Week 18 rotation, with Cesar Valdez (DL: shoulder) sidelined and Francisco Liriano traded. Nick Tepesch was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo to start on Wednesday in Valdez's place, and Chris Rowley was recalled to start on Aug. 12.

The Cleveland Indians pushed Mike Clevinger back in their rotation, and can slot him in whenever they wish during Week 18 due to the Monday day off. It seems logical that they'd want their best starters working as frequently as possible, so Clevinger would presumably rejoin the rotation on Aug. 12, the latest date they'll need a fifth starter.

The Houston Astros have provided no updated timetable for Lance McCullers Jr.'s (DL: back) return to their rotation.

Andrew Cashner (neck) was scratched from his Tuesday start, but he'll be ready to rejoin the Texas Rangers' rotation on Aug. 13. Tyson Ross (DL: blister) will be activated to start on Aug. 12.

The Atlanta Braves will use their Aug. 10 off day to push R.A. Dickey back in their rotation to Aug. 13 in order to provide him some additional rest.

The Miami Marlins recalled Justin Nicolino from Triple-A New Orleans to fill in for Chris O'Grady (DL: oblique) on Aug. 12.

The New York Mets have listed Chris Flexen as their scheduled Aug. 13 starter. Robert Gsellman (DL: hamstring) struggled in a rehabilitation start for Double-A Binghamton on Sunday, making it likely he'll need at least one more turn in the minors before returning. The Mets have provided no timetable for Zack Wheeler's (DL: humerus bone) return.

Stephen Strasburg (DL: elbow) is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Aug. 12 and will not be ready to rejoin the Nationals' rotation during Week 18.

Scott Feldman (DL: knee) is tentatively scheduled to rejoin the Cincinnati Reds' rotation on Aug. 12, replacing Tim Adleman.

Robbie Ray's (DL: concussion) timetable hasn't been made fully clear by the Arizona Diamondbacks, though it appears that he'll require either a simulated game or minor league rehabilitation start before being activated, making a Week 18 return unlikely.

The Colorado Rockies haven't yet promised Tyler Chatwood another start, and Chad Bettis (DL: cancer), who made a successful five-inning, 70-pitch rehabilitation start for Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, is tentatively scheduled to rejoin their rotation on Aug. 14, so the team appears likely to use a four-man rotation through Week 18.
