Fantasy hockey update -- Week 11 scoring period extended

ESPN

To our fantasy hockey managers,

In response to the NHL's postponement of games, we are extending the NHL Week 11 scoring period -- originally covering Dec. 20-26 -- to conclude Sunday, Jan 2. Week 12 will begin on Monday, Jan 3. The number of scoring periods is reduced from 26 to 25. Fantasy playoffs will now begin Week 21, the week of March 21-27; those dates are unchanged.

For those in Head-to-Head leagues, your Week 12 opponent will be the team originally scheduled for Week 13. If you play with scoring period games played or acquisition limits, the extended Week 11 scoring period will adjust dynamically to account for it.

For any leagues that lock with either the first game of the week or individual player first game of the week, we realize that you may have made different lineup decisions based on the two-week scoring period. Your League Manager has the tools necessary to make moves retroactively, and/or to manually update any head-to-head matchup scoring. We will continue to monitor the situation and react accordingly.
