Bordeaux have been dealt a big "blow" with the news that goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso has suffered knee ligament damage.
The 34-year-old was taken off in the 70th minute of Les Girondins' 2-2 draw with Nantes on Saturday and the club has now confirmed that he has ruptured his cruciate ligament.
A statement on the club's official website said: "Our goalkeeper underwent tests on Monday afternoon. They reveal a ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee. This is a blow to our player, his teammates, the staff and to everyone who loves the club.
"The France international will see a surgeon in the coming days."
