Chelsea enter Sanchez chase
A contract standoff was inevitably going to lead to wild rumours concerning Alexis Sanchez's next club, with Europe's top teams eagerly anticipating the opportunity to land the Arsenal sensation and big money from China also on offer.
However, in what would amount to one of the most controversial moves in Premier League history, the Mirror believes Chelsea will emerge on the scene should the Chilean fail to make progress with the Gunners.
No approach has been made, but with just 18 months to run on the two-time Copa America champion's deal, the Blues would relish the opportunity to snare one of their rivals' prized possessions.
Gunners open to Ozil departure
While Arsenal scramble to keep hold of Sanchez, their stance is less firm regarding their other superstar, Mesut Ozil. The Telegraph reveals the Gunners are open to offers for the German playmaker.
Like Sanchez, Ozil is asking for an enormous raise in wages to commit his future to the Emirates, which means the Gunners are reluctantly willing to listen should mega-bids arrive, as he'll have just 12 months left on his deal by next summer.
The pair are reportedly after an astonishing £20 million per year, roughly £380,000 per week, a number the Gunners would struggle to approach.
The report suggests Arsenal can stretch to £15m per year, £288,000 per week, for one star player, with Sanchez preferred if the club have to choose. That opens the possibility of Ozil returning to Real Madrid or moving back to Germany with Bayern.
Zaza ready to end West Ham nightmare
West Ham are ready to cut their losses on Italy striker Simone Zaza, with the Mirror suggesting Valencia are likely to come to his rescue.
The former Juventus star has flopped since moving to the Premier League and the Hammers hope to get rid of him in January before their £5m loan is turned into a £17m permanent move.
Zaza has failed to score in 11 games for the Hammers and Los Che are prepared to back new manager Cesare Prandelli with funds to strengthen the squad in January.
Juventus consider City outcasts
Pep Guardiola is ready to oversee a clear-out at Manchester City next summer and Tuttosport believes Juventus will be ready to run the rule over seven potential targets.
The Old Lady are firstly considering Yaya Toure, but Willy Caballero, Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy, Fernandinho and Jesus Navas could all leave the Etihad next summer.
