Given that it's a real thing for most North American sports leagues, we went through a hypothetical exercise as to what would happen if the Liga MX Bancomer had an All-Star break, with an ensuing competition featuring the competition's best players. The results were as follows:

The ESPN All-Star Game will be held at Estadio Azul as a way of honoring the storied venue days before its scheduled demolition.

Oribe Peralta and Andre-Pierre Gignac will be team captains because of their place among the best players in Mexican soccer. Team Oribe will boast a roster full of Mexican players on its roster while Team Gignac will feature the most outstanding foreign players from the 2018 Clausura.

Miguel Herrera, who currently has America atop the league's standings, will manage the team led by Peralta; Robert Dante Siboldi, the Santos manager whose team is currently in second place on goal difference just below Las Aguilas, will be manning the bench of the "imports" team.
