Arsenal are tracking Standard Liege's Belgian goalkeeper Guillaume Hubert, sources close to the North London club have told ESPN FC.
The Gunners have sent scouts to watch Belgium under-21 international Hubert on several occasions and were again represented at Sunday's draw with Gent.
The 6-foot-6 goalkeeper is highly rated and came through the ranks at Standard Liege.
Arsenal are considering their long-term goalkeeping options with Petr Cech now 34 and the future of No. 2 David Ospina uncertain.
A move for Hubert in January looks unlikely, but Arsenal could step up their interest next summer.
A number of other Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Leicester and Stoke, are admirers of Hubert, but the Gunners are in pole position.
