Swansea's Kyle Naughton set for swift return after hamstring strain

Swansea defender Kyle Naughton will miss his side's key relegation clash at Hull on Saturday, but his hamstring injury is not as bad as the club had feared.

Former Tottenham defender Naughton was injured during last weekend's 3-2 home win over Burnley.

But a statement on Swansea's official website said: "Scans have confirmed the injury is not as serious as first thought.

"The right-back will sit out Saturday's trip to Hull City, but is then due to be back on the training pitch in readiness for the following match at Bournemouth (March 18)."

Head coach Paul Clement, who has won five of his eight games in charge, has also had good news about Ki Sung-yueng and Jefferson Montero.

South Korea midfielder Ki has returned to full training following a knee injury, while Ecuador winger Montero has continued his recovery from a hamstring problem.

The pair could be in contention to feature against a Hull side six points adrift of Swansea in 19th place.
