Ryan Day considering Titans' offensive coordinator job

Ohio State co-offensive coordinator Ryan Day is considering becoming the Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator, league sources told ESPN.

The move would be significant because new Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has a defensive background, and improvement for Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota is one of the most important issues the franchise faces.

Day was hired as the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterbacks coach on Jan. 22, 2015, and then followed Chip Kelly to San Francisco before joining Ohio State in January 2017.

Vrabel, who served as the Houston Texans' defensive coordinator this past season, played at Ohio State before his career with the Patriots.
