The Houston Texans have re-signed quarterback Joe Webb III.
Terms were not provided by the team Friday.
The 32-year-old backup didn't throw a regular-season pass last season for Houston.
A sixth-round pick of the Vikings in 2010 out of UAB, Webb has 90 career completions for 888 yards with three touchdowns and six interceptions.
The Texans signed quarterback AJ McCarron on Wednesday. Last season, they carried three quarterbacks on the roster with Webb and Brandon Weeden backing up Deshaun Watson.
