Colts 19, Titans 17

Colts inactives: OT Le'Raven Clark, TE Hale Hentges, DB Rolan Milligan, DE Jabaal Sheard, DE Kemoko Turay, RB Jonathan Williams

Titans inactives: OG Nate Davis, RB David Fluellen, LB Reggie Gilbert, C Hroniss Grasu, OG Kevin Pamphile, CB Tye Smith, DE Brent Urban

Injuries:

Pierre Desir, CB, Colts. Starting cornerback Desir left Sunday's game and didn't return after sustaining a knee injury. Desir has been the Colts' top cornerback the past two seasons, and his injury forced the Colts to move slot corner Kenny Moore to the outside, with rookie Rock Ya-Sin taking Moore's place. Moore went back to the inside with Quincy Wilson going outside when the Colts went with three cornerbacks. -- Mike Wells

Highlights:

The Colts take back the lead, as Jacoby Brissett finds T.Y. Hilton -- who shows off some nice dance moves after the score:

Derrick Henry charges into the end zone to give the Titans the lead:

It's the first career touchdown for Colts WR Parris Campbell:

Packers 21, Vikings 16

Vikings inactives: CB Mackensie Alexander, OG Pat Elflein, OLB Ben Gedeon, DT Jalyn Holmes, CB Mike Hughes, OT Oli Udoh, DT Armon Watts

Packers inactives: ILB Oren Burks, CB Ka'dar Hollman, DT Kingsley Keke, OG Cole Madison, OG Lucas Patrick, WR Darrius Shepherd, RB Dexter Williams

Injuries:

Raven Greene, S/ILB, Packers. The Packers were already without projected starting inside linebacker Oren Burks, and now they've lost one of his replacements to a potentially serious right ankle injury. Greene, a combination safety/inside linebacker, had to be carted off the field and needed a scooter to wheel himself out of the locker room after the game. The Packers split time with Greene and recently acquired inside linebacker B.J. Goodson depending on the defensive package. Burks, who remains out with a torn pectoral muscle, might still be a week or more away from returning. -- Rob Demovsky

Highlights:

Kirk Cousins launches the deep ball and Stefon Diggs comes down with it, cutting the Packers' lead:

Dalvin Cook gets through the line clean, and then it's off to the races for a 75-yard score:

Seahawks 28, Steelers 26

Seahawks inactives: DE Ezekiel Ansah, DT Poona Ford, C Joey Hunt, WR Gary Jennings, WR David Moore, S Tedric Thompson, DB Neiko Thorpe

Steelers inactives: DT Isaiah Buggs, LB Jay Elliott, TE Zach Gentry, OG Fred Johnson, CB Justin Layne, FB Roosevelt Nix, OT Chukwuma Okorafor

Injuries:

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers. Roethlisberger injured his right elbow on his throwing arm in the second quarter. He's being evaluated, and coach Mike Tomlin didn't know the extent of his injury after the loss. Second-year quarterback Mason Rudolph replaced Roethlisberger in the second half, and completed 12 of 19 attempts for 112 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Roethlisberger wasn't the only Pittsburgh injury coming out of the game -- the Steelers finished with four additional injured players: James Conner (knee), Sean Davis (shoulder), Vince Williams (hamstring), and Anthony Chickillo (plantar facitiis). -- Jeremy Fowler

D.J. Fluker, OG, Seahawks. Fluker suffered what Pete Carroll described as a minor ankle sprain, but he returned and finished the game. Aside from that and an unspecified injury that briefly sidelined left guard Mike Iupati, the Seahawks made it out of Pittsburgh in good shape-injury wise. "That a huge plus going into next week coming home," Carroll said. Another plus: Seattle could have Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) next week against the Saints after he was inactive for the second straight week. Carroll said that if Ansah didn't play against Pittsburgh, there would be a great chance he'd be ready for the Saints game. -- Brady Henderson

Highlights:

Mason Rudolph connects with Vance McDonald for their second TD of the day:

It's the first NFL TD catch for DK Metcalf:

Mason Rudolph finds Vance McDonald for the TD:

Rashaad Penny goes the distance to extend the Seahawks' lead:

Flea flicker alert! Mason Rudolph connects with JuJu Smith-Schuster:

Texans inactives: RB Taiwan Jones, OG Senio Kelemete, OG Greg Mancz, QB Alex McGough, TE Logan Paulsen

Injuries:

Laremy Tunsil, OT, Texans. Tunsil left the game with an ankle injury, but came back in for the Texans' next offensive series. After the game, head coach Bill O'Brien said he didn't think the injury was "too bad." -- Sarah Barshop

Highlights:

Gardner Minshew finds DJ Chark for a late touchdown:

Deshaun Watson keeps it and bullies his way in for six!

Well, when it's 6-3 through three quarters, we suppose it makes sense to show off some punting highlights:

We've got an homage to Space Jam in Jacksonville:

Patriots 43, Dolphins 0

Patriots inactives: RB Brandon Bolden, OT Marcus Cannon, OG Jermaine Eluemunor, RB Damien Harris, WR Jakobi Meyers, CB Joejuan Williams

Dolphins inactives: RB Myles Gaskin, DE Trent Harris, S Reshad Jones, OT Isaiah Prince, OG Chris Reed, WR Albert Wilson, OG Bryan Witzmann

Injuries:

Isaiah Wynn, OT, Patriots. The 2018 first-round draft choice, who missed his rookie season with a torn Achilles tendon, was knocked out of Sunday's game late in the first quarter with a foot injury. There are few more important jobs in New England than protecting Tom Brady's blindside, and Wynn looked like he was up to the task when on the field. The Patriots have had a run of injuries/retirements along the offensive line that has created roster-related stress, going all the way back to spring practices, and the less-than-ideal situation was reflected in how veteran Marshall Newhouse replaced Wynn on Sunday. Newhouse was just signed on Wednesday. -- Mike Reiss

Highlights:

Tom Brady connects with James White for a late score:

Another pick-six for the Patriots, this time it's Jamie Collins getting in on the action:

It's a pick-six for Stephon Gilmore to extend the Patriots' lead:

Tom Brady keeps it on the sneak, and gets into the end zone:

Expect to see a lot of this combination this season: Tom Brady to Antonio Brown for six:

It's Dan Marino's birthday today, and the Dolphins are going old-school with the end zones:

Wonder what Chad Ochocinco and Josh McDaniels are discussing...

49ers 41, Bengals 17

49ers inactives: QB C.J. Beathard, OT Daniel Brunskill, RB Tevin Coleman, WR Jalen Hurd, WR Trent Taylor, DB Jason Verrett, CB Jimmie Ward

Bengals inactives: DT Andrew Brown, WR Pharoh Cooper, QB Jake Dolegala, OT Cordy Glenn, WR A.J. Green, RB Trayveon Williams, DT Renell Wren

Injuries:

Joe Staley, OT, 49ers. Staley's injury was just about the only bad news for the Niners on Sunday, as he departed late in the third quarter with a broken left fibula, an injury that is expected to cost him the next six to eight weeks. That's a huge blow for a team that doesn't have much depth on the offensive line, and will now turn to rookie Justin Skule to step in for Staley on the left side. The good news for the Niners is that coach Kyle Shanahan is not expecting Staley to miss the full eight weeks and, at least for now, doesn't consider Staley a candidate for either short- or long-term injured reserve. Also, the 49ers have a bye in Week 4, which buys Staley a week off that won't cost him a game. -- Nick Wagoner

Michael Jordan, OG, Bengals. The Bengals' rookie starter suffered a left knee injury and was carted off the field in the second half of Sunday's lopsided 41-17 loss to the 49ers. Jordan's former teammate at Ohio State, 2018 first-round pick Billy Price, came off the bench to finish the game at left guard. If Jordan is out for an extended period of time, an already beleaguered offensive line could have more problems. Cincinnati finished Sunday's game with its fourth-string offensive tackle and has struggled to open holes for the running backs. The Bengals can't afford to be without Jordan for an extended period of time. -- Ben Baby

Highlights:

John Ross hauls in a 66-yarder for a score:

Jeff Wilson Jr. enjoyed his first TD so much, he did it again:

And another rookie gets his first NFL touchdown, as Deebo Samuel is in for the score:

Jeff Wilson Jr. finds paydirt from two yards out to put the 49ers up by two scores:

Raheem Mostert takes a pass 39 yards for a score:

The Bengals strike back quickly, as Andy Dalton finds Tyler Eifert for the TD:

Can't get much more wide open than this: Jimmy Garoppolo connects with Marquise Goodwin on a 38-yard score:

A good sign for Bengals fans as Joe Mixon warms up on the field:

Ravens 23, Cardinals 17

Cardinals inactives: DE Jonathan Bullard, DE Michael Dogbe, C Lamont Gaillard, WR Andy Isabella, OT Joshua Miles, OL Brett Toth, OG Jeremy Vujnovich

Ravens inactives: LB Otaro Alaka, LB Jaylon Ferguson, DT Daylon Mack, QB Trace McSorley, OG Ben Powers, WR Jaleel Scott

Injuries:

Brynden Trawick, S, Ravens. Trawick, one of the Ravens' top special teams players, injured his arm on the first punt of the second half and did not return. His timetable to return is unknown. Baltimore has one of the best special teams units in the NFL. If Trawick is out for an extended period, the Ravens will lean on leaders Anthony Levine and Justin Bethel. Running back Mark Ingram II and rookie wide receiver Miles Boykin left the game with undisclosed injuries but later returned. -- Jamison Hensley

Highlights:

Lamar Jackson won't finish with as many touchdown passes as Week 1, but he's out there making plays:

After suffering a wrist injury earlier in the game, David Johnson charges into the end zone:

Lamar Jackson connects with rookie tight end Mark Andrews for the first TD of the game:

How many touchdowns will this man throw today?

Cowboys 31, Redskins 21

Cowboys inactives: WR Tavon Austin, DE Taco Charlton, LB Luke Gifford, DT Trysten Hill, OT Brandon Knight, C Adam Redmond, DB Donovan Wilson

Highlights:

Ezekiel Elliott gets in on the fun with a short rush to paydirt:

The Redskins strike back, with Case Keenum finding Paul Richardson:

Dak Prescott finds Amari Cooper to extend the Cowboys' lead:

Our former colleague Jason Witten is in the end zone!

First catch of the year is a big one for Devin Smith, a 51-yard touchdown!

Inactive in Week 1, Adrian Peterson is in the end zone in Week 2:

The Redskins had more coverage breakdowns and communication issues in the opener and now they're replacing starter Quinton Dunbar, out with a knee, with veteran Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. His experience will help but it'll be his first extended playing time with the Redskins. They also have two backup corners active who joined the team this week: Aaron Colvin and Simeon Thomas.

Bills 28, Giants 14

Bills inactives: OT Ryan Bates, OG Ike Boettger, DB Jaquan Johnson, CB Taron Johnson, TE Tyler Kroft, OT Conor McDermott, WR Andre Roberts

Giants inactives: TE Garrett Dickerson, RB Paul Perkins, WR Sterling Shepard, OG Chad Slade, WR Darius Slayton, OT Eric Smith, QB Alex Tanney

Injuries:

Devin Singletary, RB, Bills. Bills fans let out a collective groan when Singletary pulled up mid-run during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Giants. However, after receiving brief medical attention on the field from the Bills' trainers, the rookie got up and walked off under his own power. He was ruled out of a game that was all but over, but it appeared to just be a cramp. Either way, after the RB's 154 yards on 14 touches in his first two games, losing Singletary would be a blow to Buffalo's burgeoning offense. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

Highlights:

Frank Gore gets in on the fun, plunging into the end zone:

The Giants cut the Bills' lead as Eli Manning finds TJ Jones for six:

Josh Allen with a shovel pass to Isaiah McKenzie, who does the rest:

It's the first touchdown of Devin Singletary's NFL career, as he scampers 14 yards around the edge for the TD:

Saquon Barkley scampers 27 yards for an early Giants TD:

Saquon Barkley checks in with some young fans before the game:

Chiefs 28, Raiders 10

Chiefs inactives: OG Nick Allegretti, WR Tyreek Hill, OG Ryan Hunter, ILB Reggie Ragland, OT Martinas Rankin, DT Khalen Saunders, TE Deon Yelder

Raiders inactives: CB Juston Burris, OG Jonathan Cooper, OG Gabe Jackson, QB DeShone Kizer, DT Corey Liuget, WR J.J. Nelson, OT David Sharpe

Injuries:

Josh Jacobs, RB, Raiders. When Jacobs, the Raiders' electric rookie running back, left the game for the locker room, interest turned to worry. "I cramped up," Jacobs said. "Yeah, so I had to go and get an IV. Something I thought I was taking care of throughout the week, staying with the fluids and stuff. I guess it was just a hot one today." Jacobs ran for 99 yards on 12 carries, including a breathtaking 51-yarder up the right sideline, and when he is out the running load falls to DeAndre Washington (three carries for nine yards) and Jalen Richard (two for three). That's a big drop off in production, at least for one game. -- Paul Gutierrez

Eric Fisher, OT, Chiefs. Fisher, who was listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week with a sore groin, started against the Raiders but left the game after a couple of snaps and didn't return. He was replaced by Cam Erving. Fisher may be able to return in time for next week's game but the Chiefs will be cautious so they don't lose him for the long term. -- Adam Teicher

Damien Williams, RB, Chiefs. Williams has a contusion on his right knee. The injury didn't have the look of something that would keep him out of next week's game but the situation bears watching because the back who shares time with Williams, LeSean McCoy, has a sore ankle. Other than that, the Chiefs have only two backs, Darrel Williams and rookie Darwin Thompson. Each is largely untested. -- Adam Teicher

LeSean McCoy, RB, Chiefs. McCoy has a sprained ankle. The injury doesn't have the look of a long-term problem, but even if he only misses next week's game, that could still be trouble. As noted above, starter Damien Williams has a sore knee and didn't finish Sunday's game. -- Adam Teicher

Highlights:

Josh Jacobs looking every bit like a first-round pick, charging ahead on a 51-yard rush:

Patrick Mahomes gets his fourth TD pass of the second quarter, connecting with Demarcus Robinson again:

Another perfect throw from Mahomes, this one to Travis Kelce for another touchdown:

Mahomes to the speedy Mecole Hardman for a 42-yard score:

They told us there would be flying cars one day; for now we'll have to settle for a flying Carr:

Patrick Mahomes to Demarcus Robinson for a 44-yard touchdown:

Derek Carr to Tyrell Williams as the Raiders take an early lead:

How many TDs for Patrick Mahomes today?

Bears 16, Broncos 14

Bears inactives: OT Rashaad Coward, TE J.P. Holtz, DB Sherrick McManis, WR Riley Ridley, DB Kevin Toliver, RB Kerrith Whyte, LB Josh Woods

Broncos inactives: CB Bryce Callahan, ILB Todd Davis, OT Ja'Wuan James, FB Andy Janovich, LB Joe Jones, NT Mike Purcell, WR Juwann Winfree

Highlights:

Talk about clutch: Eddy Pineiro is good from 53 yards to seal the deal for the Bears:

Emmanuel Sanders makes an incredible touchdown catch to set up the go-ahead two-point conversion:

With the Broncos knocking on the door, Kyle Fuller comes up with a pick to end the threat:

We've got a touchdown! David Montgomery gets just into the end zone to extend the Bears' lead:

Not much offense from either team in the first half, but Khalil Mack notches his first sack of the 2019 season:

Now this is devotion:

Rams 27, Saints 9

Saints inactives: WR Austin Carr, CB Ken Crawley, C Nick Easton, OT Ethan Greenidge, DB Saquan Hampton, DT Sheldon Rankins, DT Taylor Stallworth

Rams inactives: OT Bobby Evans, DB David Long, TE Johnny Mundt, LB Obo Okoronkwo, C Coleman Shelton, WR Nsimba Webster, DB Darious Williams

Injuries:

Drew Brees, QB, Saints. Brees will see a hand specialist in Los Angeles on Sunday night before he learns the severity of the thumb injury that sidelined him in the first quarter. The good news for the Saints is that they have some of the best QB depth in the NFL, with Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill on the roster. But Bridgewater was not effective Sunday while the rest of the offense flopped around him. So the Saints will need to improve in multiple areas to keep their season afloat if Brees misses substantial time. -- Mike Triplett

Aaron Donald, DT, Rams. Donald also left the game in the first half, and was designated as questionable to return due to a back injury. However, he returned to the field after a brief sojourn in the locker room.

Austin Blythe, OG, Rams. Blythe suffered an ankle injury in the first half, hobbled off the field and was carted to the locker room. A fourth-year pro, Blythe did not return and was placed by backup Jamil Demby. Rams coach Sean McVay did not have an update on Blythe's status after the game. The offensive line has two first-year starters in left guard Joe Noteboom and center Brian Allen. If Blythe is out for a prolonged period, it could be problematic. -- Lindsey Thiry

Highlights:

Cooper Kupp didn't quite get into the end zone here, but this was about as impressive a play as we saw Sunday afternoon:

A pass from Jared Goff to Brandin Cooks extends the Rams' lead:

Todd Gurley II with the first touchdown of the game:

A 57-yard bomb from Jared Goff to Brandin Cooks:
