Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock was a full participant at Wednesday's practice, and the team said it has not committed to a starter for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.
Broncos coach Vic Fangio said the team is still evaluating Lock, who has been sidelined since suffering a shoulder injury in Week 2.
Fangio wouldn't commit to Lock starting for sure Sunday, but Lock acted like he is. Also Wednesday was the first time Lock had been listed as a full practice participant on the injury report since his injury.
Fangio said Denver will also consider Brett Rypien as a possible starter against New England, depending on Lock's progression.
Lock told reporters he is "really excited to be back."
"It feels good to be doing what I love and doing what I feel like I was put down here to do," he said.
"... it feels good just to be doing what I love, doing what I feel like I was put down here to do,'' Lock said after Wednesday's practice. "Great to be back with the guys, calling plays in the huddle ... gets pretty lonely back there with the headset.''
"I am ready for the first hit, just to get it out of there, let it happen, let everyone hold their breath for a couple seconds and when I get up everything is just fine,'' Lock said. " ... I'm excited to get back out there.''
