Glasgow Warriors have switched their Heineken Cup game against Northampton Saints to Firhill, the home of Partick Thistle Football Club.
The club were keen to avoid a repeat of the postponement of the Boxing Day clash with Edinburgh Gunners at Hughenden due to a frozen pitch.
Partick have undersoil heating at their ground, meaning Glasgow could move a mile across the west end of the city to save the game.
"We wanted the game to go ahead and Partick Thistle were happy to help us out," said Glasgow chief executive David Jordan.
The game will kick off on Friday at 7.30pm.
