Packers' season snap counts: Defense

GREEN BAY, Wis. – If the Green Bay Packers decide to re-sign veteran cornerback Tramon Williams, it might be in part because of his durability.

Just like last season, when Williams missed just 14 snaps all season, he played the highest percentage of defensive snaps on the team during the 2014 season. Including playoffs, Williams was on the field for all but 84 of the 1,218 defensive plays this past season.

Williams, 31, was in the last season of a four-year, $33 million contract. He's one of the team's key defensive free agents.

This season, the Packers used 24 defensive players, six fewer than they did last season.
