PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery missed his second straight practice Wednesday with a shoulder injury.

Jeffery landed on his shoulder during one-on-ones Saturday and drew the attention of trainers. He sat out some of the ensuing action but returned before long.

"I feel great," he said afterward. "I'm fine, I'm good."

Jeffery practiced Sunday, and Monday was a day off for the Eagles.

Head coach Doug Pederson suggested Tuesday was more of a veteran's day off, making Jeffery's second consecutive absence Wednesday a bit unexpected.

In addition, running back LeGarrette Blount once again missed practice for personal reasons. Rookie running back Donnel Pumphrey (hamstring) also did not participate.

Receiver Torrey Smith returned to practice after sitting out Tuesday with back spasms.
