Devin Haney improves to 30-0 with an incredible victory over Vasiliy Lomachenko in Las Vegas. (0:49)

Devin Haney successfully defended his undisputed lightweight championship Saturday against former unified lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko in the main event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. All three judges scored the fight for Haney (116-112, 115-113, 115-113).

"He's a crafty fighter; he turns it up in the championship rounds ..." Haney said after the fight. "He's a great fighter."

Lomachenko came on at the end of the bout and was listed as a -500 favorite on the live line, but the scorecards didn't fall his way. He refused to comment on the decision after the bout was over.

"Before I think he was a little better," Lomachenko said in the ring. "But right now, he's a tough fighter, a good fighter, but not a pound-for-pound fighter."

Haney (30-0, 15 KOs), 24, unified all four major belts with a victory over George Kambosos Jr. in June 2022. Lomachenko, 35, had won three consecutive bouts prior to this fight.
