The Chicago Sky have acquired 6-2 forward Tamera Young from the Atlanta Dream for guard Armintie Price.
Young has appeared in 11 games for the Dream, averaging 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 6.5 minutes per game.
"The addition of Tamera to our roster will be huge for us," Sky general manager and head coach Steven Key said in a statement. "We've been struggling under the basket, and it's been obvious that our rebounding isn't where it should be. Tamera is 6-2 and will help contribute to crashing the boards.
"I wish Armintie the best in Atlanta. This trade will hopefully be an opportunity for AP to get more playing time. She is a hard worker, a phenomenal athlete and a team player, this wasn't the easiest decision as she will be missed by the organization."
Price is averaging 1.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 14.7 minutes.
