Mercedes has rolled out the W07, the car which will defend its back-to-back F1 titles, in the Barcelona pit lane.
The car first broke cover on Friday last week during a promotional filming day at Silverstone, before images were released on Sunday morning. On Monday, less than an hour before the start of testing, reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton and team-mate Nico Rosberg took the covers off the 2016 car in front of the media.
Mercedes had released images of the W07 on Sunday but the pit-lane launch was the first opportunity to see the car up close. The biggest point of interest was the tighter bodywork around the power unit and the significantly larger airbox, though the front of the car remains largely unchanged.
Mercedes heads into 2016 having won 32 of the 38 races since the introduction of V6 turbo engines in 2014. The latest car will look to maintain the team's position at the top of the pecking order, though Mercedes expects a strong challenge from Ferrari this season.
Hamilton will be the driver behind the wheel for the first day of testing.
