Each night of the WNBA season, our team of fantasy and betting experts breaks down every game on the schedule, making note of everything from injuries and lineup changes to recent trends and more.

Here's what to look for tonight:

Thursday night's WNBA slate features only two games. While many eyes will be on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, the most interesting game might be between the Los Angeles Sparks and the Chicago Sky. This should be an exciting matchup between two young and up-and-coming teams.

Thursday's fantasy streamer

Kia Nurse, G, Los Angeles Sparks (rostered in 31.8% of ESPN leagues)

Nurse bounced back Tuesday with a 30-fantasy-point performance in 28 minutes against the Fever after combining for only 14 fantasy points in the two previous games. Nurse played 30 or more minutes and scored 21 or more fantasy points in each of her first three games of the season.

BPI prediction:

Best bet: Nneka Ogwumike over 19.5 points

Ogwumike has made a seamless transition to the Storm, clearing 19.5 points in three of her past five games while averaging 33.9 minutes per game. Things are looking good for Ogwumike facing a Fever team that ranks last in defensive rating.

Los Angeles Sparks at Chicago Sky
8 p.m. ET, Wintrust Arena, Chicago

Line: Sky -3.5
Money line: Sparks (+150), Sky (-180)
Total: 162.5 points

BPI prediction:
Sky: 57.4% chance to win.
Projected margin of victory: 2.1 points

Injury report
Sparks: Layshia Clarendon (Out), Azura Stevens (Out)
Sky: Isabelle Harrison (Day-To-Day), Kamilla Cardoso (Out)

Best bet: Dana Evans over 11.5 points

Evans has shined as the Sky's starting point guard this season, surpassing 11.5 points in four of her past five games this season. She has also averaged 10.8 field goal attempts and 29.5 minutes per game. Evans should perform well against a Sparks team that ranks ninth in defensive rating and is also a viable fantasy streamer who is rostered in only 47.2% of leagues.

Best bet: Sparks (+4.5)

Even though the Sparks aren't a strong defensive team, the Sky are by no means an offensive juggernaut. Chicago has lost 11 of their past 14 home games dating back to last season. Meanwhile, the Sparks are 8-2-1 against the spread over their past 11 road games. This should be a close game that Los Angeles could even win outright.
