Alvaro Medran has joined Deportivo Alaves on loan from fellow La Liga side Valencia for the 2017-18 season.
Medran, a youth product of Real Madrid, joined Alaves on Friday in search of more playing time after making 16 La Liga appearances last term -- six of which came from the bench.
The 23-year-old central midfielder, who is under contract with Valencia until June 2020, joins Bojan Krkic at Alaves -- who signed on a season-long loan from Stoke City on Thursday.
"I'm delighted to be here and eager to play at the Mendizorrotza Stadium. I am looking forward to meet my new teammates," Medran told Alaves' official club website.

Alaves have failed to find the back of the net in their opening two league games -- a 1-0 loss at Leganes and a 2-0 defeat to Barcelona.
Coached by Luis Zubeldia, Alaves next face Celta Vigo in La Liga on Sept. 10.
