Damus, a Haiti international, ranked tied for seventh in the league with 16 goals during the regular season in 2021. He scored a pair of goals in the USL Championship final, as OCSC beat the Tampa Bay Rowdies, 3-1.

Prior to arriving in Orange County, Damus played two seasons in USL League One with North Texas SC after a brief stint in the FC Dallas academy. He won the USL League One Golden Boot in 2019.

Damus, 22, made his senior debut for Haiti as a 16-year-old in 2016.

He is the second player from the USL Championship to move to Sundsvall since the end of last season, joining former Rowdies defender Forrest Lasso, whose move was announced in January. The Swedish club is also pursuing former United States international Joe Corona, according to MLSSoccer.com, after the midfielder spent the past four seasons in Major League Soccer with the LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo.
