Chris Goulding's red-hot shooting streak continued on Sunday night after he drained 10 three-pointers in the Boomers' 98-75 win over Korea, earning Australia Asia Cup qualification.
The big win capped off a dominant second window of qualifiers for the Boomers having defeated Thailand 101-48 just three days earlier. The Melbourne United captain dazzled with nine triples for 27 points in Bangkok, but bettered that outing with 31 points in Goyang.
Scores were tied at 19 at quarter time before a second-quarter surge saw the Boomers take a 54-32 lead at the half. And while Korea kept pushing, the Boomers always had control.
Ben Henshall (16 points) and Nick Kay (13 and 12 rebounds) were also two of the Boomers' best.
More to come.
