JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars tight end Evan Engram will miss Monday's game against the Bills with a hamstring injury.

Engram injured the hamstring during pregame warmups Sunday and did not play against the Cleveland Browns.

Second-year player Brenton Strange started in Engram's place against the Browns and set career highs in catches (three) and receiving yards (65). He will fill the same role against the Bills.

Engram, who had one catch for 5 yards in the Jaguars' season-opening loss at the Miami Dolphins, had not missed a game with the Jaguars since signing with the team in March 2022. He caught 114 passes for 963 yards and four touchdowns last season.

He has 188 catches for 1,734 yards and eight touchdowns in 35 games with the Jaguars.
