MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins' offense has found its rhythm.
The Dolphins scored on consecutive possessions to start the second quarter, giving them a 14-0 lead over the New England Patriots on a 9-yard pass from Tua Tagovailoa to running back De'Von Achane. Tight end Jonnu Smith opened the scoring with a 7-yard receiving touchdown the drive before.
On second-and-goal from the Patriots' 9-yard line, Miami motioned Achane from the right slot into the left flat. Tagovailoa hit the second-year back immediately after receiving the snap, and Achane weaved his way into the end zone for his seventh scrimmage touchdown of the season.

The score capped off a nine-play, 66-yard drive. Their second scoring drive in three possessions Sunday is reflective of how efficient the Dolphins' offense has been over the past month. Since Tagovailoa's return in Week 8, Miami has scored on a league-leading 60.5% of their 38 offensive drives.
The streak continued on the following drive, when Tagovailoa found Achane once again for an 11-yard touchdown -- his third touchdown pass of the first half. Achane motioned across the formation again, and was wide open as New England's defense lost track of him out of the backfield.
