Luger confirmed at Quins

NEC Harlequins have announced the signing of Dan Luger on a two-year contract. He re-joins the Club from Saracens.

The 26-year old England international, who has 20 full caps to his name and has scored 13 tries for his country, returns to The Stoop where he spent three years between 1996 and 1999 before joining Saracens two years ago.

"It is something of a homecoming for Dan to return to the Stoop," said NEC Harlequins Chief Executive Mark Evans. "He is without doubt one of the best finishers in world rugby and will give us some real firepower out wide. He has never made any secret of the fact that his heart lies with the Quins and I expect him to contribute fully to the team during its Premiership and Heineken Cup campaigns next season."

"I'm over the moon about coming back," said Dan. "It is my Club, they are who I supported when I was growing up and it feels like home. I'm hopeful that all my injury problems are now behind me and I'm looking forward to winning trophies with Quins."
