Benjamin Watson's heartfelt response to Colin Kaepernick's anthem protest

Baltimore Ravens tight end Benjamin Watson won't be standing on the sideline this season after being placed on injured reserve. But, if he is fortunate to be there again, he will be standing for the national anthem like he always has.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Watson detailed his heartfelt stance on this hot-button issue.

Watson, 35, signed as a free agent with the Ravens in March. Baltimore outbid his prior team, the New Orleans Saints, for whom he had 74 receptions for 825 yards and six touchdowns in 2015.
