Ravens celebrate much-needed victory by donning Christmas costumes

BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Ravens players were given days off for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day after Saturday's 23-16 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

But a couple of Ravens were already in the holiday mood. In the locker room, defensive lineman Carl Davis dressed in a Santa Claus suit and linebacker Matthew Judon put on an elf costume.

"We wanted everyone to make everyone feel in the Christmas spirit," Davis said, as Judon blasted Christmas music in the background.

Davis came to the Ravens facility on Friday wearing the Santa outfit, and Judon told him that he wanted to join the fun. So Davis found an elf costume for Judon and the decided to take their holiday-themed wardrobe to the game.

Davis, who is a 321-pound Santa, was asked whether he was going to get stuck in any chimneys.

"I don't know. We're going to find out," he said with a smile. "If I get stuck, there are going to be a lot of people disappointed."
