Former Bengals WR Chad Johnson on missed PATs: 'I'm available'

CINCINNATI -- Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson took note of the league’s struggles with extra point kicks on Sunday.

With seven PATs missed in the first half of Sunday’s early games, including two by Bengals kicker Mike Nugent, the retired Johnson wanted to let teams know: He’s free.

After Nugent missed two extra point attempts in the first half of the Bengals' game against the Buffalo Bills, Johnson said via his social media account that his services were available.

Johnson tweeted out a picture of himself filling in as the Bengals kicker.

Johnson kicked in place of injured Shayne Graham in a preseason game against the New England Patriots in 2009.

Johnson attempted one extra point in the 7-6 win. Of course, it was good.
