TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers inside linebacker Devin White finally got his wish to take a victory lap around Raymond James Stadium holding the Lombardi Trophy after the Bucs’ Super Bowl parade.
Last week, prior to the Bucs’ 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, White said, “If we get the W, I don’t care what they say, I’m pulling the horse out, I’m going to hold the Lombardi Trophy and I’m gonna ride around.”
White intercepted Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes to seal the Bucs’ victory, and said after, “I need to ride my horse in the stadium with the trophy. ... They need to make it happen before I get outta here.”

White has long said that riding his old horse Daisy Mae around Tiger Stadium at LSU was the “best day of his life.”
General manager Jason Licht OK’d it Monday, tweeting, “You earned it, cowboy! Giddy up!!!”
Daisy Mae passed away just before training camp in White’s rookie season, so he got to share this experience with his new horse. Her name? Dream.
