HINSDALE, Ill. -- From freshman to senior year, a lot of boys will outgrow their shoes and clothes. And at 6-foot-6, 2014 prospect Ian Bunting (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) has definitely done that. But as a wide receiver on his high school team, he's also probably going to end up outgrowing his position.
For most of his football career he has played wide receiver, but with his height, Bunting knows that most college programs peg him more as a tight end or H-back.
Bunting already holds an offer from Purdue and has plenty of Big Ten interest, including Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Illinois. And with his junior year tape getting out to coaches, his interest has begun to move outside of the Big Ten to schools such as Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Cal and UCLA.
