Tuesday's slate brings us a tough slate for streaming pitchers, but it's beginning to get hot in certain parts of the country and we have Coors Field in play, not to mention a couple hitters that remain far too low-rostered for their talent levels, so hitting should be quite easy to find today.
Here are Tuesday's choices to bolster your fantasy squad, with everyone available in at least half of all ESPN leagues.
Pitching
Logan Webb (R), rostered in 4% of ESPN leagues, San Francisco Giants vs. Texas Rangers: It's incredible Webb is as lowly-rostered as he is, but I suppose a 5.34 ERA will do that. The 3.42 xFIP is much better, and projections all like him as a 4.00 guy going forward. The matchup is fantastic against a strikeout-prone Rangers offense that is both losing a DH in the National League and taking a sizeable park hit.
Madison Bumgarner (L), 53%, Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Miami Marlins: I'm not buying the MadBum resurgence, but against the lowly Marlins, you can absolutely stream him. On the bright side, he has added the second-most fastball velocity and the fifth-most fastball spin of any qualifying starting pitcher this year.
Jordan Montgomery (L), 47%, New York Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays: Montgomery generally has a fairly short leash, but he's more talented than many realize. THE BAT projects him as the 67th best SP in baseball, which makes him a borderline number-two starter. With a park upgrade against a fairly strikeout-heavy Rays offense, this spot is a pretty solid one.
Kwang Hyun Kim (L), 17%, St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers: With Christian Yelich and Omar Narvaez on the IL, this Brewers lineup is significantly worse and significantly more strikeout-heavy. It's one of the better matchups an NL pitcher can be faced with, making Kim a worthwhile stream if the above options aren't available.
Bullpen: Cincinnati Reds pitchers get a massive park upgrade today going from Great American Ball Park (#2 best hitters park) to PNC (#15). The 52 degree temperatures are among the coldest of the day, and of course the Pittsburgh Pirates offense is awful, rivaled only by the Rockies as the worst in all of baseball. Tejay Antone is the clear best stream here. He's the best reliever on the squad and has received the most usage. His fastball velocity and spin are both up big this year, as is his curveball usage. Big time strikeout pitcher who can also provide good ratios, he's a fantastic stream and is rostered in just 21% of leagues.

Hitting
Catcher -- Stephen Vogt (L), under 1%, Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Miami Marlins (RHP Pablo Lopez): Lopez is a solid, underrated pitcher, but he gets a big park downgrade today. It will be 91 degrees if the roof is open, making this a solid enough spot to stream a decent-hitting catcher.
First Base -- Brandon Belt (L), 18%, San Francisco Giants vs. Texas Rangers (RHP Jordan Lyles): Belt is perpetually under-rostered, and I just don't understand why given the big-time Statcast power gains he made last year and the 7 homers he's hit already in 2021. Against one of the weakest pitchers on the slate, he's a no-brainer.
Second Base -- Starlin Castro (R), 11%, Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies (RHP Chase Anderson): Starlin is another guy I seem to always write up because he's never rostered on enough fantasy teams, and today he gets a weak, reverse-splits, homer-prone pitcher in Chase Anderson.
Third Base -- Marwin Gonzalez (S), 7%, Boston Red Sox vs. Oakland Athletics (RHP Chris Bassitt): Marwin has hit leadoff against the last two righties Boston faced, and while Bassitt is a solid one, he is taking a massive park hit by going from the elite pitching environment in Oakland to the elite hitting environment in Boston.
Shortstop -- Miguel Rojas (R), 40%, Miami Marlins at Arizona Diamondbacks (LHP Madison Bumgarner): As I said, I'm not buying the MadBum resurgence, and while the Marlins are a bad offense, when it comes to streamers you can certainly pick out any number of their righties today. Adam Duvall is an elite play, Rojas is great by shortstop standards, and Brian Anderson should also be in consideration for you.
Corner Infield -- Hunter Dozier (R), 41%, Kansas City Royals at Detroit Tigers (LHP Matthew Boyd): Boyd is a good pitcher, but he's a lefty who gives up home runs. Dozier has power and will hold the platoon advantage here in a much better park for power than his home in Kauffman.
Middle Infield - Ha-Seong Kim (R), 6%, San Diego Padres at Colorado Rockies (RHP Jon Gray): The Padres are in Coors today, and while most of their hitters are rostered in most fantasy leagues, you can find Kim available just about anywhere, and Tommy Pham is available in a bit less than half of all leagues. You can steal on Gray, making this particularly appealing.
Outfield -- AJ Pollock (R), 60%, Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Seattle Mariners (LHP Yusei Kikuchi): While Pollock doesn't quite meet the usual sub-50% criteria, he's the premier streamer today and is close enough where he needs to be mentioned. He's a quality hitter on baseball's best offense, and he'll hold the platoon advantage today.
Outfield -- Avisail Garcia (R), 29%, Milwaukee Brewers vs. St. Louis Cardinals (LHP Kwang Hyun Kim): Garcia ought to be rostered in more leagues, but until he is he can be streamed in the most mediocre of matchups. Today is actually quite a bit better than that, as he faces a lefty with a wide platoon split.
Outfield -- Manuel Margot (R), 37%, Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees (LHP Jordan Montgomery): Margot hits second against most lefties, and while this game is taking place in Tropicana Field, the mid-50s weather in all the outdoors games means this one has the third-lowest air density of the day.
