What you need to know for Sunday's games

In the only game of the day, the Seattle Storm travel to DC to face the Washington Mystics in a Sunday matinee. Both teams are looking for their first win of the season after two hard-fought losses to open the slate. The Mystics have faced two powers in the Liberty and Sun, while the Storm got swept in a home-and-home against the Lynx. It's still very early in the season, but we've already seen some players outperforming expectation. Let's dig deeper into this matchup in preparation for this afternoon's action.

Sunday's Fantasy Stream Team

Karlie Samuelson (available in 56.1% of ESPN leagues) bounced back from a slow start in the season opener to post a strong 18 point, 4 assist, 4 3-pointer, 3 rebound, 2 steal effort against the Sun. She is the starting point guard for the Mystics and has the opportunity to grab a large role in creating offense for the team this season.

Stefanie Dolson (available in 66.5% of leagues) has been solid in both games this season and is a daily threat to score low double-digits with plus rebounding. She may have an even larger role on Sunday with Shakira Austin (hip) sidelined.

Jordan Horston (available in 76.2% of leagues) is making the most of her role off the bench through two games, fresh off an 11-rebound effort in Friday's double-overtime loss. Though she got extra minutes and opportunity due to the extended second game, her averages thus far are a solid 7.0 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 3.5 SPG and 1.5 APG in 29.5 MPG.

Horston started almost half her games (17 of 36) as a rookie last season, and had solid all-around averages. Horston has major upside as a sophomore if she's ever able to earn a starting slot, but even off the bench she can produce fantasy-caliber numbers. .

Dre's Bets for Sunday

Storm -5.5 over Mystics (-105): The Mystics are a solid team, but they are likely to be missing two key starters on Sunday with Austin (out, hip) and Brittney Sykes (doubtful, ankle) unlikely to play. The Storm could also be without a key starter in Nneka Ogwumike (GTD, ankle), but she hasn't been ruled out and they have the quality depth to step in should she need to sit. The All-Star backcourt of Jewell Loyd and Skylar Diggins-Smith are learning to play together and could put big numbers on the board, and Ezi Magbegor is capable of stepping up her production in the paint if called upon to do so.
