Donovan Mitchell, Julian Edelman and more react to thrilling Vikings-Saints finish

London might have seen the best game of this young NFL season.

The Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints traveled to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the NFL's annual game across the pond. What followed was a fourth quarter full of twists, turns and heartbreak in equal measure in the Vikings' 28-25 win. Though it was only 13-7 Vikings going into the fourth quarter, the two teams traded scores on seven straight possessions, culminating with a 47-yard go-ahead field goal by Vikings kicker Greg Joseph.

That wasn't all she wrote for the Saints, however. With only 24 seconds remaining, Andy Dalton completed a 32-yard pass to Chris Olave to bring New Orleans just within field goal range. Saints kicker Wil Lutz, who had made a 60-yarder earlier in the quarter to tie the game, lined up for a 61-yarder with the chance to send the game to overtime.

And he was just short, to the point where the ball doinked off both the upright and the crossbar.

After such a heartbreaking loss, current and former athletes such as Donovan Mitchell and Julian Edelman reacted on Twitter.
