SEATTLE -- The Seattle Seahawks lost a combined 44 yards on a pair of botched snaps in the first half of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams and also dropped two passes, with one bouncing into the hands of a Rams defender for an interception.
Despite all the sloppiness, they took a 13-3 lead into halftime at Lumen Field thanks to a pair of touchdowns less than one minute apart sandwiched around a Riq Woolen interception.

After their first five possessions ended with four punts and the interception that went off Jaxon Smith-Njigba's hands, Seattle's offense finally woke up. Geno Smith hit Tyler Lockett for a 30-yard touchdown to cap a nine-play, 70-yard drive (the PAT was blocked).
Woolen then picked off a Matthew Stafford deep ball intended for Puka Nacua to give Seattle the ball back. Smith-Njigba, atoning for his earlier drop, caught a 46-yard pass to get the Seahawks into Rams territory and then caught a 26-yard touchdown two plays later to cap a wild sequence.

Even more good news for the Seahawks: They won't have to defend Nacua for the rest of the game after the Rams receiver was ejected for throwing a punch at Tyrel Dodson after Woolen's pick.
