FRIDAY, JUNE 4

Melbourne vs. Brisbane, Giants Stadium, 7:50pm (AEDT)

Team news: The Lions have been boosted by the return of Brownlow medallist Lachie Neale in their top four clash against Melbourne. Veteran defender Ryan Lester will also return after spending two weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, with Rhys Mathieson and James Madden making way. Meanwhile, the Dees will be without hard-running Ed Langdon this week, with Tom Sparrow replacing him in the starting 22.

ESPN tip: Demons by 11 points.

TAB odds: Demons $1.77, Lions $2.05

SATURDAY, JUNE 5

Sydney vs. St Kilda, SCG, 1:45pm (AEDT)

Team news: Sydney has made four changes for its clash against St Kilda, with Tom Hickey and Robbie Fox returning from injury and young duo Logan McDonald and Joel Amartey also recalled. The quartet replace Callum Sinclair, Hayden McLean, Kaiden Brand and Dylan Stephens (all omitted). Young running back Hunter Clark will return from injury as the Saints' one change, with defensive counterpart Tom Highmore making way.

ESPN tip: Swans by 13 points.

TAB odds: Swans $1.35, Saints $3.10

Adelaide vs. Collingwood, Adelaide Oval, 4:35pm (AEST)

Team news: The Magpies will be without star ruckman Brodie Grundy, who suffered a neck injury against Geelong last week and is looking at a two-to-three week stint on the sidelines. In better news for Nathan Buckley's side, Jamie Elliott has been recalled from injury, while developing ruck Max Lynch will feature in his first game of the season. The Crows have made two changes to last week's side that went down to the reigning premier; Sam Berry (concussion) and Nick Murray (omitted) will be replaced by young mid Ronin O'Connor and defender Will Hamill.

ESPN tip: Crows by 16 points.

TAB odds: Crows $1.45, Magpies $2.70

Essendon vs. Richmond, Optus Stadium, 7:40pm (AEST)

Team news: The Tigers' line up was bolstered last week with the inclusions of Dion Prestia, Shai Bolton and Trent Cotchin, among others. This week, Shane Edwards and Marlion Pickett -- who has served his one-match ban for striking -- will both return to the line-up. Ruck Toby Nankervis is expected to miss around a month of action with a knee injury. The Bombers have also made two changes for the Dreamtime clash; defender Aaron Francis returns after missing last week's stunning win over the Eagles, while Brayden Ham has been listed in the starting 22 after being unused as the medical sub last week. Will Snelling (thumb) and Brandon Zerk-Thatcher (omitted) are those who make way.

ESPN tip: Tigers by 10 points.

TAB odds: Bombers $2.60, Tigers $1.48

SUNDAY, JUNE 6

Carlton vs. West Coast, SCG, 3:20pm (AEST)

Team news: Tim Kelly is expected to miss several weeks with a knee injury, one which saw him subbed out of his side's loss to the Bombers last week. Oscar Allen will also miss this week through concussion, while coach Adam Simpson declared injured trio Josh Kennedy, Brendon Ah Chee and Jarrod Brander also unavailable in a massive hit. A number of young players including Luke Edwards and Xavier O'Neill have been included in the extended squad. The Blues will make at least one forced change with Michael Gibbons out with a hamstring injury. Paddy Dow, Zac Fisher, Jack Newnes and Luke Parks have been included in the squad.

ESPN tip: Blues by 5 points.

Fremantle vs. Western Bulldogs, Optus Stadium, 6:40pm (AEST)

Team news: Sam Switkowski (hamstring) will miss at least this weekend's game, but the Dockers will be bolstered by the returns of key position pair Matt Taberner and Griffin Logue. Stefan Martin has been named for the Bulldogs, but Josh Dunkley, Adam Treloar and Easton Wood all remain sidelined. Coach Luke Beveridge shut down the possibility of a Mitch Wallis recall, saying the 2016 premiership star needs to find more consistency in the VFL.

ESPN tip: Bulldogs by 22 points.

TAB odds: Dockers $3, Bulldogs $1.38
