TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals' wait for running back David Johnson to return continues.

Coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday that none of the Cardinals on injured reserve is ready to start practicing yet.

“That’s very disappointing because they’re not making the progress that we had hoped,” Arians said.

Arians didn’t sound optimistic that any of the players will be back soon.

“Wait and see,” Arians said. “From today, it looks like no.”

Johnson was eligible to begin practicing on Oct. 24 and come off injured reserve on Nov. 7. According to NFL rules, he’ll have to practice for two weeks before he’s eligible to play.
