Bills put Mario Williams, Leodis McKelvin on non-football injury list

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Pro Bowl defensive end Mario Williams was among three players the Buffalo Bills placed on the active/non-football injury list Thursday.

A team source said Williams’ condition is “minor.” Williams, who participated in organized team activities and minicamp this spring, can be removed from the list at any time during training camp.

The Bills also placed cornerback Leodis McKelvin and kicker Dan Carpenter on the active/non-football injury list. Both players had offseason surgeries, with McKelvin held out of team drills during practices this spring.

First-year tight end Chris Manhertz and rookie cornerback Cam Thomas were placed on the active/physically unable to perform list.

The Bills will hold their first training camp practice Friday.
