Super Bowl MVP Von Miller sent a postgame message to Johnny Manziel on Sunday night:

Miller and Manziel both played at Texas A&M. Miller made a similar statement to TV cameras after the game, "Hey, Johnny Man, I know it's a hard time. I've been in the same situation. I'm here with you, buddy. Keep grinding, and you, too, can be here in two more years. I love you." Miller refered to his six-game suspension in 2013 for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Manziel is the subject of a Dallas police investigation into a complaint filed by Colleen Crowley that he assaulted her the evening of Jan. 29.

Last week a judge granted Crowley's request for a protection order, ruling Manziel cannot see Crowley for two years and that he must stay 500 feet from her home and workplace.

Manziel told TMZ the assault "did not happen."
